"My mom was born in Detroit in the 40’s and was a city girl through and through..and then suddenly was moved to a farm in northern Michigan. Even though she had to milk the cows and drive the tractor, she retained that early taste of  luxury from being raised in a progressive and booming city.  The Blue Cocoon, with its delicious smell and silky  texture, brings me back to the summer smells of my grandparents’ farmland with fields of flowers and herbs,  and the sense of pure luxury when i apply it to my skin.  It’s basically all the beautiful things about my mother, whipped up into a balm.  What better gift to give her?"
